Sarah has over 25 years of experience teaching a wide variety of instruments and styles from beginners to professional level. Current and former students have performed with the National Youth Orchestra and National Youth Concert Band of Great Britain, and have achieved places - including scholarships - for further study at top UK conservatoires.

​Sarah is an external examiner and panellist for Trinity Laban, Guildhall and the Royal Academy of Music, and is also a Mentor for the London Musical Theatre Orchestra Development Scheme.

In January 2013 Sarah was appointed Saxophone tutor at the Junior department of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Prior to this, Sarah taught at the Junior department of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and at a number of London and the South East’s leading independent schools - including Bedales, Highgate School, and (currently) North London Collegiate School. Sarah has recently been appointed as a Visiting Consultant at Radley College.
